Club Penguin started as Penguin Chat which you could play at rocketsnail.com (that stands for Rsnail) and it was different appart from the town. Everything was free and you could become a ninja!
It was similar to Club Penguin appart from these was not as many rooms. Infact, the town looks the same as it does now and it snowed as well! Talking about snow, if you through a snowball, you could miss and there was no aim radar so it would go anywhere!
Stop asking about ninjas becuase as of yet, on Club Penguin you can’t. You could on Penguin Chat if you clicked the N in penguin and then a little box would appear.
If you went in the Gift Shop, you would be transported to RocketSnail.com Online Store where you could buy T-shirts and keyrings. It was preaty cool!
Then one day, they announced that Club Penguin was going to be lanched so they shut down Penguin Chat and you could only play some of the other games on RocketSnail.com
Finally it lanched and when you went on Club Penguin, you got 2,000 coins, a beta testing party hat and one months free membership!
